Symbolism: Holden means that people that don't struggle or have complications in their life, have an enjoyable life. On the other hand, Holden also means that people who struggle and have a hard life, live miserably. Theme: This quotes shows that people can either live a complicated or easy life. In which, Holden suggests he lives a complicated life. Life Connection: In life, many people live very hard lives which makes them miserable. Or People can live a very easy life that is enjoyable. I can connect to this quote because I feel like I have lived a very hard life.

Also, you have to worry about your future or you might end up regretting it. Also, make as many contacts as possible because I believe that if you have friends in high places you'll rank up faster among the social classes and will lead to doors to economic success and prosperity.
